Job Title: Clinical Marketing Lead

Location:
Field based with regular travel to veterinary practices throughout the UK and to the office based in Reigate.

About the Role:
We are excited to present a unique opportunity for a Clinical Marketing Lead in the rapidly evolving animal health sector. This hybrid role combines both technical expertise and marketing strategy, providing you with the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle—from pre-launch field studies to multi-channel marketing campaigns.
In this role, you will take ownership of the strategic marketing efforts for a groundbreaking diagnostic product while utilizing your technical expertise to support its development and launch. As a key player, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, technical experts, and marketing professionals, to ensure the product’s success in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Development: Design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy based on in-depth market insights and customer needs, aligning with the product’s clinical application and global strategy.
  • Technical Expertise & Support: Leverage your veterinary knowledge to provide scientific and technical support, ensuring the diagnostic product meets market and regulatory needs.
  • Field Study Leadership: Plan, design, and execute field studies to engage veterinary practices, gathering data to inform product development and refine marketing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, regulatory, medical, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and product initiatives.
  • Campaign Design & Execution: Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (non-branded awareness, branded, educational) across relevant platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), industry influencers, and customers, driving advocacy and product adoption.
  • Training & Education: Deliver product training sessions for internal teams and customers, ensuring a deep understanding of the product's technical features, benefits, and applications.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to assess competitor products, identify opportunities, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Product Launches & Rollouts: Oversee global product launch planning, ensuring alignment with regional teams and evaluating campaign success against business objectives.
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: A degree in Veterinary Medicine (MRCVS) or a related life science field is essential. A marketing qualification is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a technical or product marketing role within the animal health, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of veterinary diagnostics and gastrointestinal care pathways. Familiarity with healthcare compliance and promotional guidelines (e.g., NOAH) is beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on detail and efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams to drive the success of marketing programs and product launches.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Location: Commutable to the Surrey office - flexible hybrid working.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in developing and implementing national marketing programs or brand positioning.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns, including content development and multi-channel execution.
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities through the use of technical expertise in veterinary practice.
